I remember aoe2calendar being a reliable source for dates regarding tournament- and showmatches. I visited the website lately and it doesn't seem to be updated since April 2020. Via siegeengineers discord I was getting to know that there is a spreadsheet running in the background that fills the page.

With adoption to Liquipedia in the last months I think it could be reasonable to change that and use the Liquipedia API to pull calendar data:

Maybe it could be reasonable to get data from AoEzone as well. As I understand that the spreadsheet means more manual work for everyone that might be doing really much stuff in the background already.

But I really like the UI of aoe2calendar, because it's less cluttered than aoezone and liquipedia. What's your opinion on that?

Fix size of logo, remove unnecessary links, and also order inline with other events

Writing custom styles, even for something this minimalist, was a terrible idea...

So the layout flips out a bit for a second on desktop until client-side React can reconcile it

Light grey is too hard to read

Would be great to have an endpoint giving an iCal format (ics) file. This node package should do it: https://www.npmjs.com/package/ics

Then you could integrate this data into other calendar systems, like Google Calendar or Outlook.

Publish the calendar to a subreddit sidebar

A follow-up to #3 which is export of individual events (useful). But another option should be to add a whole calendar to your Google Calendar or other calendar system that is dynamically updated.
