Overview

This project aims to provide a convenient tool for summarizing research papers. Leveraging Google's Generative AI (Gemini), it can generate summaries or answer questions based on uploaded research papers in PDF format.

Installation and Setup ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/Sidra-Tul-Muntaha-Ghouri/Gemini-AI-Hackathon.git
    
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd Gemini-AI-Hackathon
    
  3. Install the required dependencies:

    pip install -r requirements.txt
    
  4. Replacing API Key

    Ensure you have obtained a Google API Key and set it as GOOGLE_API_KEY in the code.

  5. Run the Streamlit app:

    streamlit run app.py
