walletcryptocurrency's Introduction

This is a new walletCryptocurrency project

Step 1: Start the Metro Server

First, you will need to start Metro, the JavaScript bundler that ships with React Native.

To start Metro, run the following command from the root of your React Native project:

# using npm
npm start

# OR using Yarn
yarn start

Step 2: Start your Application

Let Metro Bundler run in its own terminal. Open a new terminal from the root of your React Native project. Run the following command to start your Android or iOS app:

For Android

# OR using Yarn
yarn android

For iOS

walletcryptocurrency's Issues

Problems running the app on Android Simulator - FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

Thanks for putting this repository together, i would like to point out the first time i run the project i got the followin error:

FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.

* What went wrong:
A problem occurred configuring project ':payu-non-seam-less-react'.
> Failed to install the following SDK components:
      platforms;android-33 Android SDK Platform 33
  Install the missing components using the SDK manager in Android Studio.

After installing the SDK 33 on my simulator i managed to progress on the installation, but now i'm getting a new error:

* What went wrong:
A problem occurred configuring project ':payu-non-seam-less-react'.
> Could not set unknown property 'classifier' for task ':payu-non-seam-less-react:androidJavadocJar' of type org.gradle.api.tasks.bundling.Jar.

I would like to suggest a few improvements to the readme explaining about some requirements in order to run the app on Android Simulator, here are some things that i think might be helpful for others.

  • install java SDK
  • install Android Studio
  • running yarn install before running yarn start
  • installing the correct Android SDK version ( is it 33? )

Still, after doing all those steps i still can't run it on Windows 10.

Please let me know if i'm missing something and/or if you need me me to try something on my windows machine.

thank you!
