This repository serves as the submission for the Peer Graded Programming Assignment required for completing the Getting and Cleaning Data Course by Coursera

There are 4 files in this repository

• README.md gives the description of the repo
• run_analysis.R is the R code for the assignment
• tidytable.txt is the cleaned dataset
• Codebook.md is the code book which details all the variables used in the tidytable.txt file

This script does the following

• Merges the training and the test sets to create one data set.
• Extracts only the measurements on the mean and standard deviation for each measurement.
• Uses descriptive activity names to name the activities in the data set
• Appropriately labels the data set with descriptive variable names.
• Creates a second, independent tidy data set called tidytable.txt with the average of each variable for each activity and each subject.
