rssfeed.bundle's Issues

Media Type Not Supported

Hi!

I really like this channel and it works fine for all my feeds except one, Apple Byte.
When I add the address, http://applebytehdpodcast.cnettv.com, it's added and recognized by RSS Feeds but inside the Feed is only a lot of Media Type Not Supported.

My guess is that the video url isn't provided as the rest of the feeds. I hade to contact the developer of  HermesPod (http://hermespod.com) to get their RSS downloader working with the same feed.

I would be really happy if you could get this feed working.

Android Client adds new feed twice

Per a user of this channel using an Android client: Ver. 3.2.4.87, when adding a new feed, the feed is added twice.

https://forums.plex.tv/index.php/topic/78012-new-channel-rss-feed/?p=545584

I do not have an Android client to test this with. So I need see if I can find someone to test the channel and to see the issue can be recreated.

Also need to see if there are any known issues with the Android client and the UserInputDirectory() or any special requirements for its use, since it could have something to do with the way the Android client handles user input.

This channel is one of the few that uses UserInputDirectory() for actual data input instead of search queries.

How does it grab thumbnails?

Hey, I manage my own RSS feeds and am wondering how the plugin pulls thumbnails. I am currently using <media:thumbnails, but it ins't working. Could you please shed some light on this?

Decrease required info to increase the feeds that are supported

Here is a very basic feed that does not have menu field to pull data from for each feed item - http://www.flalottery.com/video/en/flalottery_itune.xml

The example does not have a link or description. It does however have a guid. The link field or a url is necessary for comparison against the Plex URL service. In the past I have considered using the guid for an alternative to the link field.

Also, this example allows me to look at what minimum information that must be pulled for a feed and where we may want to make other information optional to make the channel work for a larger number of feeds.
