hypertouch's Introduction

HyperTouch:

HyperTouch is a native extension for Haxe / NME to handle native gestures on your Android & iOS devices.

Gestures currently supported are:
- LongPress
- Pan
- Pinch
- Rotation
- Swipes
- Taps ( Simple / Double / Two Fingers )

Getting started

First include the path to the HyperTouch folder in your NMML project file.

<include path="extensions/hypertouch"/>

( Will be soon on haxelib )

Adding listeners :

var hyp = HyperTouch.getInstance( );
	hyp.add( TAP( 1 , 1 ));//Single Tap
	hyp.add( TAP( 2 , 1 ));//Two Fingers Taps
	hyp.add( GESTURE_SWIPE );//Swipe Gesture
( ... )

//The event are for now dispatched on the current stage.
Lib.current.stage.addEventListener( TransformGestureEvent.GESTURE_SWIPE , _onSwipe );

Nota:

Some events value are specifics to some plateforms ( pressure by example which is android only ).

TODO:

- iOS rewriting & optimization
- iOS velocity support

Tested on Devices :

Android:
- Nexus One 2.3.6
- Nexus 4 4.2.1
- Motorola Xoom 4.1.1
- Galaxy Nexus 4.0

iOS:
- iPad 1 & 2
- iPod 2G
- iPhone 4G

hypertouch's Issues

Pan gesture & Android

Hi,

I'm currently testing your great gesture lib, but I encounter a problem with Pan on Android (haven't tested ios yet).

As soon as I try to listen to a pan event, the android app just kill itself after a black screen.
"xxxMyAppNamexxx s'est arrété"

I'm wondering if you can reproduce that error, or if you have an idea about where to look.

I'm currently looking after the Java code and checking if it might be a JNI issue.

Best
Thomas

Android : doubleTap event received twice

Hey again,

I noticed that issue today on Android.
I've managed to solve this by making the Java View listener to consume the event (returning true when there's an emit, at onTouch, onDoubleTap, onSingleTap).

I can provide the change if you confirm the problem.

can't found the library. did I miss something?

xcode show the error.

ld: library not found for -lhypertouch
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

I did "include" in the nmml file.

org.shoebox NativeMirror

didn't found another tracker so i post here :

1- Whence return type is not specified, the lib should throw a compile error,
we preferre to ignore by adding:

static private function _get_package_return_type( t : ComplexType ) : String{
if ( t == null )
return 'Void';

but it must be better to send error

2- whence porting to haxe3 it shows there are many unmatched switch, they should send back null and we have the feeling it should sometime get processed :)

Good work anyway !

Android : Compatibility borken with OPENFL 1.2

Hi, just tried to switch to openfl 1.2.2 and hypertouch does not work anymore.

Seems you cannot rely on GameActivity for handling events : symbol org.haxe.nme.GameActivity does not exist anymore.

I saw that you were "Waiting for the GLSurfaceView reinitialization" so maybe with openfl / lime it is doable?

When I compile my nmml, I got an error.

../../../../extensions/HyperTouch/src/fr/hyperfiction/hypertouch/gestures/GestureSwipe.hx:80: characters 4-38 : fr.hyperfiction.hypertouch.#HyperTouch has no field onTransformGesture

did I miss something?

PS.
ok, I found the answer.

if signal

HyperTouch.onTransformGesture.emit( ev );

else

stage_emit( ev );

end

Android, compatibility broken with Openfl 1.4, and Haxeflixel

Hello,
It seams that the so file is still referencing to the old "org.haxe.nme" instead of lime.

I get errors like below.

How can I generate a new so file?

Thanks

-compile:
[javac] Compiling 13 source files to D:\Haxeflixel\Gestures\Project Jumper_gestures2\export\android\bin\bin\classes
[javac] D:\Haxeflixel\Gestures\Project Jumper_gestures2\export\android\bin\src\fr\hyperfiction\hypertouch

\HyperTouch.java:10: error: package org.haxe.nme does not exist

Upgrading to openfl

When I'm adding the to the .nmml file and running:

openfl test android

I'm getting the error:

Error: Could not find include file ""
