Hello,
sometimes your site goes offline. (https://local-party.herokuapp.com/) I want to host it myself so I have the control of the uptime.
Well I clone the local-party repo and upload the repo files. I downloaded the .js-files and .css-files requested in index.html and made an extra folder and changed the URLs in index.html. Everything is running fine. But I am still using your backend API.
My Question:
-How do I setup the socket.io API requested in render.js? Is that possible to run the API on the same apache server as the rest?
Would be great if you could help me with that or put a short instruction for a simple debian server with apache into the README of the repo.
Thanks!
It would be nice to have the option to add a YouTube video instead of a local file. I personally need this because Discord isn't able to share audio on Linux, so this would be great to watch videos with my friends.
