Lab Manual missing details

For Getting Started with the SharePoint Framework, on Exercise 1, step 5 (Select Create a new app catalog site option & select the OK button. ). I spotted the issue below.
This is right after I click OK.

Updates are currently disallowed on GET requests.  To allow updates on a GET, set the 'AllowUnsafeUpdates' property on SPWeb.

ReferenceError: primordials is not defined

Followed the steps and ran all the commands from the documentation
https://github.com/SharePoint/sp-dev-training-spfx-getting-started/tree/master/Demos/03-webpart

All good until the command gulp trust-dev-cert or gulp serve
When i run this command, it will display error ReferenceError: primordials is not defined

Environment details (development & target environment)

  • Your Developer Environment: [Windows 10]
  • Target Environment: [e.g. SharePoint Online]
  • Framework: [e.g. .Node.js v12.14.1]
  • Browser(s): [e.g. Chrome v79 ]
  • Tooling: [e.g. VS Code]

Any thoughts on how i should move forward? Already tried downgrading node but still not useful.
Feel free to let me know if any other details are required.
