I have found that : AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'cv' about webcam-face-detect HOT 4 CLOSED

i just replace flags=cv2.cv.CV_HAAR_SCALE_IMAGE by flags=cv2.CASCADE_SCALE_IMAGE
it works

from webcam-face-detect.

• first, create a virtual environment by the below command

virtualenv environmentname

• now a virtual environment is created
• u need to activate the virtual environment by typing the below command

source environmentname/bin/activate

• now install opencv package

pip install opencv-contrib-python

• After successful installation, run the below command to run the project

python webcam.py

from webcam-face-detect.

a. Packages for standard desktop environments (Windows, macOS, almost any GNU/Linux distribution)

Option 1 - Main modules package: pip install opencv-python
Option 2 - Full package (contains both main modules and contrib/extra modules): pip install opencv-contrib-python
