after some digging turns out to be a date/time issue not in sync on the VM...
very odd error :/

Strange! I had some DNS issues the other day and didn't know if it was related.
Having time not synced via NTP will screw up LOTS of things. Glad you were able to trace it! Thanks for sharing the solution 👍
