Add setting to manually select dark/light mode as seen in SecUSo/privacy-friendly-qr-scanner#174

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with android 4.0.something. Would it be possible to compile this game for that?

I'd really like to get this working since the only way to install apps on it is using adb since no website nor app store works with it any more and it was just factory reset-ed by accident.

Please substitute the lines 634 and 656 in die license file with data from your project (readme accordingly).

However, I noticed some situations, where you could improve the experience.

For example, it would be easier to follow along, if the turns were animated.
That is, if a figurine is moving, translate it (in the geometric sense).
Even if it is across the board, that would be an improvement!
(The prettier solution would be to follow the lines of the board).

For visual assessibility, a dark theme is missing from this app.

I have some ideas on how to bring the game to another level.
For example, I know variants of Ludo, where it is allowed to have two figurines of the same colour on the same field.
This way the form a wall, where no other figurine (even by the same player) can pass.
Would it be possible to extend this game with new modes?

I propose the implementation of start and star refuge zones in the "Privacy Friendly App Ludo" game.

They could serve as safe zones, providing a temporary sanctuary for players.

Additionally, integrating safe zones would enhance strategic gameplay tactics. This combination would enable both defensive and offensive strategies, significantly enriching the gaming experience.

Especially with the six-player mode, it is hard to see, where the „special fields” of another player are. Those are the field, where a figurine is placed after throwing a 6 plus the „home base” where all figurines of a player have to move into.
Could those get a solid colour (the player's one)?

Missing info about how-to back up this app's data to make it clear to users how they can do this. This is very necessary when a user is switching physical phones.

Would it be possible to invert the colours of the dice after the throwing phase was completed?
I imagine a similiar effect as with the figurines.
This way, it would be obvious, that now something else is to act upon (that is, picking a figurine).

I suggest that a background image should be added to the ludo game.

Proposal Description

The game is quite interesting, but it looks too raw to me. Maybe it's not just me. The game would be more interesting if only there was a background image added to the game. I never thought the developers would skip this, but I have to suggest it for the betterment of everyone. I think that adding a background image to the game would make it look more interesting. I have been playing ludo games and have never seen any one without a background image. Even if there was any one like that, it'll look boring. Therefore, I request that the SECUSO group should add a background image to the game.
