Instead of using a magic IP address, consider using a docker network and named containers, like this:
docker network create --driver bridge secdevops-net

`docker login -p` throws an error

docker login -u ${DOCKER_USER} -p ${DOCKER_PASS};

It looks like docker depricated the use of the -p flag. Changing the line to the following fixed it for me.
echo ${DOCKER_PASS} | docker login -u ${DOCKER_USER} --password-stdin;

"mkdir bin" the scond time stops with error

mkdir bin;

Directory already exists from line 29, and I receive an error.
I suggest using [ ! -e bin ] && mkdir bin; or mkdir -p bin;

the EB creation script fails because the EB member name is too long
