Choice Java vs Ruby
- HAPI (but Java)
- 'ruby-hl7' gem (not complete...would need extending. unsure of value)
- conformance profiles must be created on Windows (problem regardless)
	- for validation and HAPI class generation
- how will we handle maintenance?
	- OpenMRS (best chance of maintenance if not Baobab)

NOTE: I had to mvn install hapi-base locally to fix a bug in XMLParser where the contructor wasn't applying the ModelClassFactory parameter
