Hi @changalberto,

Short answer is no.

Open sourcing a framework and making it work on a a different platform are different things.

TrifleJS is a wrapper for the WebBrowser .NET object that talks to the version of Internet Explorer currently running on the windows machine where you execute it.

OSX implementations of the .NET framework (ie the mono project) use Webkit or Gecko engines, not IE, so if you try compiling Trifle in OSX with mono you'll get a WebKit or Gecko engine running your automation.

For TrifleJS to work properly on OSX you need a few things to happen:

  1. Microsoft Open-sourcing Internet Explorer.
  2. Some kindly soul porting this monster into OSX
  3. Some other kindly soul adding support for this on the mono project.
  4. Some other kindly soul (me) making sure this works and is tested in OSX.

I wouldnt hold my breath to see if the above happen..
