Resting Plugin

A plugin for giving the player a Resting idle animation.

RestTitle

Activating

Rest can be activated by right-clicking your Run energy orb...

RunToggle

...or by right-clicking a player-made fire when adjacent to the fire and directly facing it.

FireToggle

These apply the Rest animation privately.

You can also publicly activate Rest by using the Spin emote. This overrides the regular Spin emote but will allow other players to see you Rest if they have the plugin active. Note that Spin still works for the purpose of completing clues!

You can also enable Auto-Resting, which makes you Rest after a set period of idle time (in seconds)

automatic resting

any idea if its within the scope of this plugin to make you automatically rest after a certain amount of idle time? say a minute or 2 of no inputs and your character takes a seat? perhaps even make it customisable on the time before you auto sit?

auto rest timer does not exactly follow the seconds set

First of all, sorry for the barrage of issues im creating! however ive noticed theres some sort of bug with the time in seconds you can input for auto resting in the plugin, it seems to happen before the set time has elapsed, in my example it was at least 10 seconds off

the 2 supplied images are my plugin settings and a stopwatch i started after moving one tile and then stopped as soon as the resting animation played

Enabling Plugin causes Weapon animation after clicking a bank to 'bug' out.

This only gets 'fixed' after the weapon is re-equipped and the plugin is off (or if the play doesn't interact with a bank). Any weapon animation swaps in Gehuer's "Weapon animation replacer" also gets affected by this. Images provided below

Character often visually displaying wrong weapon/equipment

Idk if there are other ways to reproduce this but one way I noticed how to glitch it was I was in bank and I deposit all worn items with the button on the bank and then exit the bank and I was still wearing the weapon (visually), but not really

Resting animation presists after moving

Apologies in advance as I have no idea what causes this to happen, but it does happen sporadically enough that it's lead to me keeping the plugin off since I discovered it last month.

After it's started no setting change seems to fix the issue, turning the plugin off does not change anything, but logging out and back in does work.

If it'd help I can keep the plugin on for a couple days and try and notice why it starts

automatic resting "oversight"?

If you have the auto rest timer quite low, say 30 seconds theres a good chance that it will override the current animation of say, woodcutting.

do you think its possible to check that only the idle animation is playing before intiating the resting animation?
