Hi there! Thanks for the suggestion. However, I do not really understand how this should look like. All BMW effects currently either hide or show a window. What should happen if you focus a window? I mean, it's already there and should not be hidden. This would not work with any of the effects...

Hi!

I see what you mean, and sorry I didn't explain the idea in full,

You're right that wouldn't make sense for focusing another window that's already visible;
I was thinking more about maximized windows - for example switching from maximized window A to maximized window B - would it make sense to show the disappearing animation on window A, so window B gradually becomes more visible, beneath the disappearing window A?

Another case for showing the effect could be a maximized window A that's currently focused, and a non-maximised window B below it. Alt-tabbing would bring B above A - that could happen with a BMW opening animation on window B ?

I'm probably not considering all the edge cases here, but just some thoughts/suggestions

Thanks again for the suggestion. However, I think that this would really require another set of effects as it would be totally annoying and / or confusing with the current effects. Also, it would just work with full-screen windows and as such only apply in some cases which would make it even more confusing...
