Adjust BattleGridView and BattleGridSquare for Firing Mode
They are currently somewhat tied to the Placement mode. Splitting this shouldn't be hard, but it needs tackled.
Use setPreferredSize to control layout sizes
Currently some of the UI changes drastically when you interact with it. This is a little silly.
Try clicking the OrientationSelector button to see what I mean. It causes the GridView to resize.
Action Outcome Message
During the waiting screen, we should display the outcome of the last event.
"Player 2 sunk Player 1's Battleship."
or even something as basic as:
"Player 1 has finished placing."
Add Border w/ info to GridViews
We should add a border to our display for both the PlacementView and the soon-to-be-implemented FiringView.
Basic info:
- Current Player Name
- Grid Labels, 0-9, A-J
Fix Logging
I've added logging in a lot of places, but I can't get the logging properties file to work correctly, and thus, can't see any of the fine/r/est level stuff.
Firing Mode
I have the skeleton of the class there, but I didn't add any LayoutManger or child-components.
Documentation
Default nextShipType selection
Default to the next ship type after placing one ship. Highlight the currently selected ship to give a visual cue to the user.
Convert Grid Row Labels to A-J
Currently both rows and columns are 1-10
Placement Bug
There's an off by one error somewhere in the bounds checking. You can't place a ship in the column or row nearest the edge.
