NorthWind

This is a simple iOS application created as part of learning experience. NorthWind accesses the location of the device and shows the current weather information and weather forecast for coming few days. This application uses the weather data offered by OpenWeatherMap. It also uses the CocoaPods in order to leverage the capabilities offered by the library AlamoFire for performing network operations asynchronously. Efforts have been made to create a responsive design that works across iPhones and iPads. More improvements on the features and design is underway.

Build & Configuration

In order to execute this application an Api key from the OpenWeatherMap is necessary. Please register with the OpenWeatherMap in order to receive the api key.

- Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/sarkarchandan/NorthWind.git
- Import the project is Xcode.
- Go to Go to Constants.swift and put the Api Key in the designated area of the field API_KEY.
- Build and Run.
