I'm wanting to perform a Jscript $_.get("http://www.whatsmyua.info/api/v1/ua") from my GitHub Pages website, but as this is enforced with HTTPS, I get the error

[calling site] was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint 'http://www.whatsmyua.info/api/v1/ua'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Any chance you could turn on HTTPS?

Hi, you are using the outdated and deprecated https://github.com/tobie/ua-parser version of the ua-parser library. This reports Edge as being Chrome, which is wrong. Please update to use https://github.com/ua-parser/uap-php where it is currently maintained and has information about new browsers (Edge, Vivaldi, et al)

the api response needs the CORS header added so it can be useful via XMLHttpRequests ($.getJSON or $http.get, etc. client-side javascript AJAX).
