When I enter a space in the search box and try to click any symbol to copy it, I get this:

As more people request characters, it might make sense to add a search function that quickly filters for characters one might find useful. This can be as simple as searching "tm" for ™ or "c" for © or "!?" for ‽, but it could also have other keywords attached to it, making it easy for people to find their desired symbols without too much hassle.

There is already a huge number of Pull Requests awaiting for merge.

I feel that the more efficient way to add simple characters is rather to open an issue with rationale (please feel free to dismiss this issue if you disagree).

Thus I suggest to add the following ones:

• « – 'left-pointing double angle quotation mark' or 'left pointing guillemet (old)' (U+00AB)
• » – 'right-pointing double angle quotation mark' or 'right pointing guillemet (old)' (U+00BB)
• ≠ – 'not equal to' (U+2260)
• – – 'en dash' (U+2013)
• — – 'em dash' (U+2014)
• ’ – 'right single quotation mark' or 'single comma quotation mark' or 'apostrophe' (U+2019)

I'd like the the option for visitors to add symbols and move them and store the symbols and order in local storage. Is somebody working on that already?
