semviz's Issues

TurboParser has no "--server" option

Hi,

Services.py is calling TurboParser with a "--server" option, however TurboParser gives the folowing error:

ERROR: unknown command line flag 'server'

I couldn't find any reference to the server option in any version of TurboParser. Are you using a custom version, or am I just doing something wrong.

I've configured everything but can't seem to get past this error. I'd appreciate any tip you can give me.

Add instructions about the Turbo parser to the readme file

In the settings, there are configurations requirements about the Turbo parser, MST parser, and a tagging script. Would it be possible to add instructions about where can I get the files/scripts for these requirements?

# MST Parser server settings
MST_HOST = "localhost"
MST_PORT = 12345

# TurboParser settings
TURBO_PARSER_HOME = '/home/lingpenk/tbparser/TurboParser-thirdorder'
#TURBO_PARSER_HOME = '/Users/sam/code/TurboParser-thirdorder'

# Tagging Script settings
TAGGING_SCRIPT_HOME = '/home/lingpenk/script'

frameviz.js and the SEMAFOR v3 JSON structure

There appears to be a problem with a couple of small changes in the JSON structure that is created by SEMAFOR v2.1 vs. v3.0.4-alph.

The first one involves a change in the "target" section:

v2.1:
"target": {
"start": 0,
"end": 1,
"name": "Relational_quantity",
"text": "Exhausted"
}

v3.0.4-alpha:
"target": {
"name": "Used_up",
"spans": [
{
"start": 0,
"end": 1,
"text": "Exhausted"
}
],
"type": "target"
}

The second change is in the "annotationSets":

v2.1:
"annotationSets": [
{
"frameElements": [
{
"start": 0,
"end": 1,
"name": "Denoted_quantity",
"text": "Exhausted"
}
],
"score": 15.141333174135688,
"rank": 0
}
]

v3.0.4-alpha:
"annotationSets": [
{
"rank": 0,
"score": 15.646716850622685,
"frameElements": [
{
"name": "Resource",
"spans": [
{
"start": 1,
"end": 3,
"text": "themes !"
}
]
},
{
"name": "Used_up",
"spans": [
{
"start": 0,
"end": 1,
"text": "Exhausted"
}
],
"type": "target"
}
]
}
]

frameviz: After repeated hovering, title attribute has iterated values

In #3, @alhuber1502 raised the issue:

The only other small issue I can now see is that the title tag on frames doesn't seem to get reset when I hover over certain parses multiple times. After a while I see things like this in the HTML:

<td class="target w10:11 leftmost rightmost a4 fDuration_attribute" colspan="1" title="Duration_attribute: long Duration_attribute: long Duration_attribute: long Duration_attribute: long" style="opacity: 1;"> </td>
