The delete messages feature should allow users to remove messages they have sent, helping them manage their conversations more effectively. This feature is essential for situations where users may have sent a message in error, wish to retract a message, or simply want to clean up their chat history.

1. User Permission: Ensure that users can only delete their own messages to maintain accountability and privacy.
2. Confirmation Prompt: Implement a confirmation prompt to prevent accidental deletions and allow users to confirm their intent before removing a message.

Possible Implementation

Consider adding a small "Delete" option alongside each message that, when selected, triggers the deletion process. Additionally, you might include an undo option or a grace period during which users can revert the deletion.
