I click the “Create Contact Action Plan” button on a Household Detail page and I choose the Action Plan Template that I need to use for that Household. When I click “Save” I receive this error:
"Invalid id:
Error is in expression '{!save}' in component apex:page in page actionplancreation

An unexpected error has occurred. Your development organization has been notified."

How can I resolve this problem so I can add action plans to Households? Should I be applying APs a different way and, of so, how?

FYI The option to add an Action Plan does not appear for contacts.

You can create an action plan with a template from the action plan template page
Also from a supported object detail page with a create action plan button. You will see an Action Plan Template lookup field.
However, if you start from the Action Plan tab, click on the New button, there is no Action Plan Template lookup field.

I cannot find an easy way to do this BUT.....

Need the ability to create a new Action Plan (Using existing AP Template) via a trigger on any object.

Simply pass the refID, refType, and templateID and viola a new action plan is created just like if you were to do it on the VF page.

I have played around with Action Plan on my salesforce account, and want to install it on everybody's salesforce license.
However, I cant work out how to in my settings, even though i have added it do the template page.
I tried to install it individually but it says user licenses denied access.
Help!

From a user: I installed Action Plans v3 and I have been creating some templates and this is all pretty cool!

A big shortcoming for us is that I can’t add the “Notes and Attachments” related list to the Action Plan custom object after it is initially created.
Is there a reason that you don’t want Notes and Attachments on an Action Plan?
Could you create a Package that has this one change or describe how I can re-install to get this enabled?

We need to attach the Fax or Email that triggered the Action Plan instantiation. Being able to add Notes about the overall Action Plan would be useful too.

I have action plan template created with prepoulated "Assigned To" field. When I click on
"Apply Action Plan" on account(person account) profile and then do lookup for template and select that it bring back all the values. After that I change some of assigned to values and some days after also. After that When I click on Save button then this error shows up.
Review all error messages above to correct your data. "
But there is no any message on the screen which shows any error message to understand why it is coming.

And weired bheaviour is that sometime it consider changes and save it and most of the time it stucks to this page by showing this error.

Is there any one who can help me this issue. We have UE of SF and using Action Plans - v3 - Unmanaged - EE, UE and DE.

We should have an initialization button that creates a sample Action Plan Template or two so its obvious to users how it works.

Sample Template 1:
Not dependent tasks, no dynamic assignment.

Sample Template 2:
Dependent tasks, dynamic assignment.
