Problem loading SyntaxFile
When using
CodeEditorSyntaxLoader.SetSyntax(CodeEditorControl1, SyntaxLanguage.CSharp)
the debugger kicks in saying
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
When digging into the code it reveals that fireball is trying to open a stream with Assembly.GetManifestResourceStream from Fireball.CodeEditor.SyntaxFiles.Syns.
This reference however does not seem to work with newer .NET versions.
So a good workarround:
Instead of calling CodeEditorSyntaxLoader.SetSyntax
- call
CodeEditorControl1.Document.Parser.Init(Language.FromSyntaxFile("CSharp.syn")) - place the .syn file from https://github.com/SagaSrc/FireBall/tree/master/FireBallEditor/CodeEditorSyntaxFiles/Syns in the output directory
Maybe this can be solved in code and updated on NuGet?
