bgkeeb's Issues

Diode orientation

Hi!
First of all, this keeb looks absolutely great. I printed some PCBs right when it was posted on reddit, and am finally getting around to building it. Thank you for making it possible!

I have a newbie question:
How can I tell the diode orientation? Unless I'm missing something, I don't see any markings on the PCBs.

Thanks!

Can't make them work

So I've built one but can't make it work. Both are flashed with left and right settings and when I plug them in separately, they seem to work (both as a left one tho), but whenever I add the TRS cable, it just goes dark - the LEDs turn off and computer doesn't recognize it at all :(

I can add some photos of the bottom of the PCB, if you want ๐Ÿ˜‰

Why is the 10k resistor optional

Hello,

I'm new to building keyboards and was wondering why the 10k resistor is optional? Thank you for making this available to the community!

Can you, please, explain how ProMicro should be soldered.

Hello.
I beg your pardon.
Can you, please, explain how ProMicro should be soldered.
Accordingly to bildguide.md, ProMicros should be placed under PCBs (left or right), but how they should be oriented, with CPUs up to PCBs?
Maybe some photos?
Sorry.
Thanks for your time.

Which direction should LEDs honour, the top, or the bottom?

Hello,

Which direction's arrows should LEDs honour for orientation?

Which direction should the LED's indicator be same with the tick on the pcb, the back (where we solder), or the front one (where switches will sit)?

Thanks in advance!
