New to the world of mongo queries/schemas.Just to get clarification, where/which collection are the player-hero stats stored? Will each player in the player collection have a document for each hero with stats or are all stats housed in the hero collection (with the player collection being simply a list of our users)? I haven't had too much time to think on it, but how will we calculate percentile - are we including the stats for each hero in the hero collection?

So there is a collection for each hero classs (eg. Tracer). Each document in there corresponds to a player-hero. So I would have a document in there and so would you. Those documents contain our tracer stats.

True percentile is expensive to calculate. We will have to see up to how many entries we can perform true percentile calculations. When we approach that bound we will sample the population and perform percentile calculations based on samples.
