That would be great.

It would be amazing to have a shuffle or play random feature.

Maybe add a link for artists to get in touch with you to showcase their music?

Plenty of great stuff out there, but you could get some artists to feed you music because they want the exposure.

Just a thought, don't want to muddy the experience for users, just looking at ways to get you more music

Would be nice to have an attribution link to / for the artists you showcase

Not sure how much of this you know ...

Many years ago (oh close to 20 now), Pandora was more or less a free music service backed by this algorithm Tim helped build called the Music Genome Product (now essentially copied and used in Apple Music, and Spotify and etc etc)

Then licensing fees almost killed Pandora, Tim went on a campaign getting many of the earlier adopters to sign petitions arguing for the rights to play music.

This lead to the "pay to play" model most music streamers (save your site and a very few others) now use.

I'm happy to support your "open source" music streamer, think its awesome.

Feel free to close this, just wanted to write a little spam -- Pandora by the way is now a clear channel product (more or less) as it is owned by Sirius XM.

the songs are of your own production? from what I saw in the API it is a song with a copyright (itunes).

what do you think about producing music using software (code) according to the user's pre-configuration?

Recently I've been getting an "error loading :(" message when focusmusic attempts to load the next song. Here is the error that appears in the console:

(index):1 GET https://focusmusic.fm/static/tracks/fresh-code-destiny-club-mix.mp3 net::ERR_CONTENT_LENGTH_MISMATCH

I personally don't like using the in browser app. For a few reasons. The biggest being if I jump on a conference call with someone. I have to track down the tab in my browser that is musicing.

Have you thought about wrapping this in a standalone electron or nwjs app? And tying it to the pause play buttons?

Sometimes "error loading :(" message appears and music stops playing. After I click "Next" next composition starts playing but error message still remains on the page. How about just automatically switch to the next audio file and don't show this error message to the user?

Cross fade makes music sound out of tune for a few seconds, every few minutes.

I'm looking to improve some of the front end design for focusmusic.fm. I'm sort of a beginner in the open source world and I'm making my first steps to contribute. What are your thoughts on making some design imrovements?

I set the volume level on my computer to almost the minimum level, and also turned on the lowest level on focusmusic.fm, but for me the music is still loud. Please add the ability to lower the volume even further.
