Hi,

I’ve been trying to use this plugin to expose a switch that works as an ’on/off’ device to control the backlight of a display. I’m currently using wiringpi with the commands ‘gpio -g pwm 19 0’ to turn it off and ‘gpio -g pwm 19 60’ for full brightness.

Is there a way to achieve this using this plugin?

I have a request for use raspberry pi and relay for use ceiling fan remote. I have remote with 3 speed and off and light buttons, and other is 6 speed, off and light buttons.
Please if possible to make new homebridge for fan I be super happy!

I have 4 relay's all sync up with homebridge. Everything is great. I can see it all in Apple's HomeKit on my iPhone.

However - The relays are turned on when I turn them off in HomeKit and they go off when I turn them on in home kit.

Somewhere I need to swop something. Please can somebody help - its driving me nuts!!!

Thanks for the homebridge-gpio-cmd solution. I'm using it to manage my Energy Recovery Ventilation . I had to use your "invert" branch to get the logic I needed. I also found I had to do a gpio -1 write pin 1 before setting it to "out" other wise the unit would turn on as soon as homebridge started.

I noted however that although duration works perfectly, once the unit turns off at the end of the duration period the status under homebridge does not change. In other words it still shows it as on. The only way I can currently get it to refresh is to exit the Home app and restart it. Not sure if this is a homebridge issue under IOS 11.4 or a codeing probem in index.js.

I'll take a closer look at the code tonight and if I can find a simple solution code or otherwise I'll let you know.
