hi ruben i have question for you i have manjaro linux awesome wm from arco linux my schemat is /home/nmars/.config/awesome/lain/widget/ and your awesome ip widget doesnt work unexpeted symbol near say massage please help thank you

The regexp currently used in the script in many cases either cuts a part of the first octet off or doesn't match the ip at all.

For example:

echo "inet 192.168.1.12/24 brd blablabla" | grep -oE '[[:digit:].]{2,3}[[:digit:].]{2,3}[[:digit:].]{2,3}[[:digit:]]{2,3}/' | cut -d'/' -f1

outputs

92.168.1.12

and

echo "inet 8.8.8.8/24 brd blablabla" | grep -oE '[[:digit:].]{2,3}[[:digit:].]{2,3}[[:digit:].]{2,3}[[:digit:]]{2,3}/' | cut -d'/' -f1

outputs nothing
