We should add support for the raw socket protocol.

We talk about an explicit goal being visiblity into runtime operations, and while our logging patterns are pretty solid (imho) we haven't put in the work yet to have a solid approach for analytics (and paging them out to analytics platforms). We should design (and then implement) that pattern.

When I wrote the swagger docs I forgot to document the x-peer-id requirement for the /peers/:peerid/messages route. This should be updated to be included ASAP. 🚨

We should add support for the sql backing stores.

The swagger file path in the readme is wrong. fix it.

We should decide how we want authentication to work (can we share bits between protocols) and document it (followed closely by implementation).

We should add the websocket protocol, which is especially great for use during browser-browser calls.

This project should be dockerized so that deployment can be as simple as "get the container". Since we already support configuration via env variables, that should be easy too.
