Hi,

I am attempting to get canvec data in to a postgis database. I have downloaded all the data that I need from the canvec site and have it on my computer. I was hoping to use your canvecj tool to run the data through so that I can get it in to .sql format. I think without your tool this would be a task that will take me days.

The problem is that I can not figure out how to use this canvecj tool of yours. I have downloaded it (canvecj-master) but I can not make sense of it.

Would you be able to give me a bit of a step by step once I have gotten this far. I am running a UBUNTU 13.10 computer. Once I get your program to run and produce a bunch of sql files for me I will be able to get them in to the postgis database with no isssue. Thank you!

Also, one other thing that is a bit confusing to me is the way that you name your jobs file. eg. 1690009 public canvec_aboriginal canvec_aboriginal.sql

Is this a older naming convention (eg. aboriginal) that canvec does not use anymore? I see that their feature catalogue describes all the shapefile names in their catalogue like this:

and do these files somehow include the things that I want like contours, and physiography. waterbodies. My apologies for so many questions but the whole thing is a bit confusing to me.
