In AppState, asWidgets :: V.Vector Name.

Does it need to be a Vector? Would it be simpler as a list?

Would there be value in having a domain-specific structure here, to make it easier to manipulate?
e.g. if we define several "regions" (e.g. header, main, footer) that may or may not be populated with widgets, it might make it easier to define the actions for manipulating the view. I worry about e.g. how will the action author know how many widgets to "skip over" to find the widget(s) that constitute the "main" part of the view, and replace them?
