I tested your project with your clone project. I found that after 30 minutes, there was no request to Heroku that I added so that my Heroku could not sleep. Can you please tell me which parts I missed? Or I forgot to configure some settings

I tried to host this app on both heroku and my ubuntu 18 lts server.first i tried on heroku

gave these config vars and try to launch the app

Then i got this error."we are sorry...."
i looked up on heroku logs,there was no error there.

then i ran this on docker,in my ubuntu server using the below env configs in docker-compose.yml

then i accesed the app running local host again

still i got the same error which i had faced on heroku.
there is no error log is appearing ?
can you tell me,how to get an error log ? also what is the reason for this issue ? i am using my own heroku postegres database,which has been provided by heroku.

When I clicked the option to remove my app, it pointed to #decaf in the URL but the pop-up box didn't appear until I refreshed.
Please fix this as I thought there isn't any option to remove my app at first.

Does this restart all dynos every 30 minutes or does it deploy the bot every 30 minutes?

Also would be nice if users could increase/decrease the time from 30 minutes to a custom value.

I don't think the 6-hour nap window has kicked in. I left it selected at 00:00 GMT when I added my page, and pings work great every 30 mins; however, i can see that they didn't stop after 00:00 gmt. it is now 5:35am GMT and pings have regularly been going on.

then i tried to take it off and it is still being kept awake. Can you assist with this?

@romainbutteaud I slightly modified and use my own database to make this code worked.
everything was fine.but the app doesnt send any pings to added websites.its will send a 1st ping,when we add our site,after that it will not send any pings.

which is a bit confusing if youre trying to select AM/PM

If you remove the width on the input element (which is hardcoded at 70px), you can see AM/PM

if i close tab this app , my heroku app still awake ?
or must open kaffeine to keep awake my herokuapp ?

I've been trying to put my app (https://liftoff-go.herokuapp.com/#/) on Kaffeine, but it keeps saying "Something went wrong". I'm not sure what is going wrong though. Could you check to see if you know what the issue is? As far as I can tell, all my Heroku settings are the same as other apps that are working with Kaffeine.

I have multiple free dyno's setup and when I use kaffeine to keep them both awake I hit the monthly limit of 1000 hrs before the end of the month (18hrs * 2 dynos * 28 days > 1000 hrs). The requested feature is to control the hours slept (instead of the default 6) or to control the exact wake-up time (ie. "I want a bedtime! [12:00 AM] to [8:00AM] (GMT)").

If you need help on this I'd love to help out since I very much appreciate the simple solution that Kaffeine presents.

I wasn't sure if the six hour scheduler was working for me, so I took a decaf and went to caf again. But now a red "something went wrong" message is showing up. The website counter decremented after my decaf, so the app is not caf anymore.

This service does not support custom domain.
When you add custom domain to heroku, it removes the http://app-name.herokuapp.com domain. So there is no way I can add my app to this service any more.

Can you remove the restrictions of the domain so that not only Heroku, other PaaS like OpenShift can be benefited, too?

I'm getting this issue on Kaffeine. Reading the former issues, looks like this is a recurring problem and the DB needs to be cleaned.

I wonder if there's also someway someone can make a Kaffeine 2.0 for more users? Or if it can be expanded somehow?

The app causes my app to crash due to memory leak, because it is a web crawler that sometimes it takes more than 30 minutes to finish.

I've wanted to change the sleeping ours 2 of my apps. I've managed to delete them, but I try to "Kaffeine" it again, I always receive a "something went wrong" error.

If someone wants, for whatever reason, to have Kaffeine no longer ping their app.

I'm getting this issue on Kaffeine Can you please resolve this resolve Hurry.

The 26th of every month at 04:30 (AM, CET) Heroku notifies me that all 1000 free dyno hours are used. That means the app should sleep more. This is probably relative to app setup, but in general my suggestion would be to allow increased sleep time.

Looks like the something went wrong error is back! I suspect the DB needs to be purged of inactive apps.

What about performing HEAD request instead of GET request?

Hello! First of all, congratulations for this amazing tool.
I'd like to know how can i know for sure that Kaffeine is no longer pinging my app? I'd like to edit the sleep time and be certain that when i wish it no longer pings it.

I'm confused why the reload route is exposed to the public via the website.

• If you hit this route then the action takes so long to execute the request eventually times out.
• If you hit this action waiting for the time-out then other subsequent requests are blocked from being processed if the server is only running on one Heroku Dyno

Each time I try and add my app "releasenotesfinder" to the site it throws a 500 error in the browser console.

It seems to have come new heroku sleep rules now. It has to sleep 6 hours a day.
And if it doesnt recieve a web request within the last 30 minutes, it goes to sleep. Maybe you should knock down your time with like 5 minutes to keep within the timerange?
Not sure how to get around the 6 hours of sleep per day though.

I was a littlebit fast with this, it seems that these dynos are in beta, so we will se what happens.

I used Kaffeine on my project idu-bot.herokuapp.com, and I give it bedtime at 04:30 pm GMT, so technically it should wake up again at around 10:30 pm GMT, however when I checked it, the wake up time is 2 hours late (00:30 am GMT)

I understand that there are many users using Kaffeine to ping their app so that must be the reason. So I'm just wondering how long the delay can take and whether it can take longer than 2 hours.

Getting an error

Hi, I set up app "multi-wing-flyer" but it does not seem to be staying awake. I am in California and set sleep time to GMT 6:00 a.m., which should make the "sleep" window from Midnight to 6:00 a.m. California time.

Is Kaffeine definitely still operating?
