Thank you for this wonderful analysis,it has given nice idea on how to do the things using sentiment analysis. please if you can help me to understant this What is objective of sentiment analysis of the filing why 3 sections covered is not clear.. why we are here doing sentiment analysis. no company tells negative about their company in their statements. what we are targeting here?

In your code you mention the Input Directory and masterFile and there is the address of the file 'test'. What is this test file?
There is no test file in your repository. Can you please specify the description about that?

Thank you for the well organized code to help understand sentiment analysis! Just one quick question, what is the correct naming of files in test folder?

I had manually scraped the first file in the master list and saved it in a folder "test" as "0000950170-98-000413.txt" which is the name of the first file. Also only left the row for this first file in cik_list1.csv.

When I run the code the df in the end returned blank and I am scratching my head for hours trying to see how to fix it.

Any advice would be much appreciated! Thank you for your help!
