Launchy McLaunchface, “Launchy,” is a currently under development by the Rocket Propulsion Laboratory. The launch vehicle is being designed for the FAR | Mars Society Launch Competition in the summer of 2018. Launchy uses the Ariel-1 rocket engine; a LOX/LNG engine achieving 2000 lbf thrust.
