About The Project

Script to check the internet connection, and alert you about it

*It can run on all devices with python, you can put it in a IoT device, or run it at your terminal on your PC, or smartphone
*It check your internet connection and alert you when it lost or stay unavailable
*It alert you when it get back
*It use sound effects to alert you, and inform you about your connection

Getting Started

This is an example of how you may give instructions on setting up your project locally. To get a local copy up and running follow these simple example steps.

Prerequisites

*python 3.6+

Installation

  1. Clone the repo
    git clone https://github.com/rodrigogaldino553/is-connected.git
  2. Install requests and playsound
  • requests
       python -m pip install requests
  • playsound
       python -m pip install playsound
  1. To use it correctly, you should open "/is-connected" folder on your terminal, if you use unix system, open it with (cd YourPath/is-connected/)

  2. Now, just run it with (python main.py)

Usage

It will show in your terminal the status of your internet connetion
