I am the creator and maintainer of Dynaconf the Python Settings Library, Book Author, Member of the Python Software Foundation.

Bio [ for community maintainers]

Hi I am Bruno Rocha, I am from Brazil, currently living in the north of Portugal.

I started working with software around year 2000 and since 2003 I've been focusing on open-source, Linux and Python,
currently I work as an Engineer at Red Hat doing the back-end for the Ansible Automation Platform.

I am a member of Python Software Foundation and I contribute to Python and Rust related communities in Brazil and Portugal.

I have a Youtube Channel and I am also a Twitch Partner Streamer and maintainer of the Rustaceans team on twitch.

I am interested in all things related to free-software, Python, Rust and ways to improve learning experience for new software developers.

Hi there,

This is my new blog :)

Yeah you read it correcly I am using github issues as a blogging platform (well, I am trying)

Why would someone use github issue as a blog?

Github released the feature that enables README.md on profile pages
I can now get a list of my latest 5 issues and list on that README :)
I can use github actions to automate that process 👍

Why not use a real blogging platform?

Here I have everything I need from a blogging platform, all the features already implemented.

And yeah I can create content locally using markdown and send to github as a new issue using github cli.
