I'm trying to sort out using tags with gutentags in haskell, and find that the behavior of hasktags under this shim doesn't seem to work. The non-sorting append seems to cause vim to no longer find tags (contrary to my reading of vim docs). See MarcWeber/hasktags#67

A simple repro would be to rename an identifier that starts with "a", then try to jump to it.

I'm on vim 8.1. Do you still use this shim, and do you find it works for you?
