My most favorite open-source project is the Top2000App. Which is an application showing the NPO Radio 2 (Dutch Public Broadcaster) Top2000 list, broadcasted between christmas en New Year. Still using MS-DOS? We got you covered with a MS-DOS variant of the application created during the COVID pandemic. Inclusing a fully automated deployment so it is being updated every year!
I will describe one idea here, we can decide later if it fits into your thesis or not:
Context: running TESTAR with state modelling on CI environment, many times on various versions of the same system under test (SUT).
Current status: TESTAR can learn a new model or continue an existing one
New feature: using an old model to optimize action selection, but learning a new model based on the execution
• requires having 2 active state models at the same time
• makes it possible to detect differences between old and new behaviour during the execution (should be marked in the model)
