Automated Bibtex Capitalization ABC. This project is to develop a set of codes that statisticians may use the program to automagically enforce capitalization within their bibtex files that are copied from the google scholar bibtex outputs.
The current code will only edit for the first instance on each line. Build out the logic in the code to handle multiple instances of the regex. One example is the word "Minkowski" in the following titled entry:
title={The Brunn-{M}inkowski-Firey theory. I. Mixed volumes and the Minkowski problem},
Write out the line number(s) in the file where the likely discussion papers are listed, quote verbatim the line of the file which has the title of the paper. This is likely a different issue than the rest of the sed regex substitutions and will require a bsh/ksh file to run an awk script on the file as well.
Also will likely want to include discussant papers as well or at least ahve an option for this one.
use the presence of "Discussion" and/or "Comment" in the title of the entry as the flag
Also might want to look at titles which start as "On the method..." these tend to have author names...
