Does it actually do anything? Every time I (want) to play the game freezes at startup (Skipping demo...)

I have an O3DS with Luma CFW and of course homebrew i'm pretty sure everything is up to the latest version. First off the launcher app does not work for me (it just goes to black screen after selecting game) so I launch the shareware version of the main game directly. It loads a bit then it slows down then it finishes up I use the DSP sound mode, the problem is that it only actually loads all the about 25% of the time the rest of the time it crashes and then I get the error dump from Luma. Is there something that I haven't setup properly or is it just compatibility. When it does load the game the sound is terrible, I turn off the music because it sounds like static and the sound effects are also pretty bad. Is there any remedy?
