I'm sending a scrolling message and the first time it works fine but the second time it doesn't scroll the whole message just a few letters. Both times I call update () but the second time it returns true very quickly. It happens to me both with the same message and with a different message. Between both messages I use the clock function to show the time. Is there a special way to use multiple scrolling posts ?. Looking at the documentation I can't find anything.

I have 12 segments (3xFC13)
after the 8th segment the text starts scrolling from the beginning.

is it possible to adjust the code for 12 segments / 3xFC16 ?

Works great but I need to use a variable for the text to be displayed (it will depend on various parameters and will be a concatenated string).

It won't seem to allow me to do it. As a test, I'm using this within the loop:
String countString = String(showCount);
String outString = ("Pass through loop number " + countString);
display.setText(outString);

It throws this error:
exit status 1
no matching function for call to 'FC16::setText(String&)'
