ietf-gh-scripts's Issues

TAO and NoteWell

Should we have links to "official" copies, or pull down latest and include them in the wg-materials repo, and I-D repo's?

Auto-update from datatracker?

Is there a way to auto-update items (WGchairs, etc) via datatracker? Would really want to use an API, not screen-scrape.

add GitHub link in about page

please make sure that the WG GitHub is included within the “Additional
Resources” section of the the WG’s Datatracker page
(e.g., https://datatracker.ietf.org/wg/drip/about/ ). In addition to making it easier
for people to find, linking your GitHub from within the Datatracker also ensures
that the GitHub data will be backed up by the IETF.

i-d-template lib instructions wrong

They want an initial doc draft submitted. Include a %(...)s dummy in the script repo and create it? Automate more of the script invocation?

Permission to use logo

Get formal permission to use the IETF logo. Working on it, but with IASA2, etc., things are in flux.

Need mk-ind-draft script

Need a script, like mk-ietf-draft, to create drafts in a user's directory. This will need much code re-used from that script, which might mean refactoring and packaging things as a python library which I have tried to avoid so far.

mk-ind-draft doesn't use the doc name specified

./mk-ind-draft --doc draft-bishop-litigious-flower -n <creds> produced a repo named "draft-mikebishop-bishop-litigious-flower" and instructions about adding a document by that name.

I kind of get it -- if I just pass in "litigious-flower" then you're going to format the draft name semi-properly. However, if I've specified a doc name that begins with "draft-", shouldn't that be the name used?
