I think that all those lessons are hard to navigate -- there is lots of materials and no easy way to browse between sections. IMHO it would be cool if we could add some sidebar content navigator, which is either always there (Although could be as dynamic as on http://centerforopenneuroscience.org/projects -- try to click/browse around to see in effect) or collapsable to the left

@djarecka - could you please add some info to this template to add quizzes for moodle?

Current situation

Questions/Quizes are created within .md files as {: .challenge} or something with a {: .solution}. Then they are manually transformed into Moodle's XML specification as was done for module reproducible basics: https://github.com/ReproNim/module-reproducible-basics/blob/gh-pages/quizes/01-shell-basics.xml

Ideal situation

We specify those using some meta language/specification and "compile" into markdown and embed into our lessons AND produce Moodle digestible version

Existing solutions

GIFT

There is https://docs.moodle.org/36/en/GIFT_format -- a very ad-hoc. There are some tools to convert to/from GIFT (see "Tools that create or process GIFTs") and even was GSOC proposal.
