I made a mistake and updated and now I can't root the TV again for piccap.
I have the previos FW version and I get into expert mode to select it, but it says "FW cannot be installed on the TV".
So, I guees downgrading was disabled. Has anyone a solution for this?

The new firmware version has broken CEC/EARC with Sonos soundbars, as well as automatic input switching so I'm trying to downgrade to the previous version.

I have developer mode but none of the other options seem to be working for me.
-I tried the 2 ipks with the firmware I want on a flash drive with no success, neither does anything.
-I tried the rootmytv and webosclub websites and the first just stays on connecting, while the later is not accessible.

i cant find my model old software anywhere on the internet to downgrade, model - LG-32LJ573D

the Method 1 you mentioned is for WebOS 1.x - 5.x and uses webosapp.club/downgrade

But there is also this method for WebOS 6.0 (which requires the activation of Developer Mode beforehand):

webosapp.club/online and then installing ExpertMode Downgrade application , then rebooting the TV.

I didn't write the full instructions, but I guess the downgrade method for WebOS 6.0 should be included in your guide.

Hi y'all, I just wanted to ask, does LG slow down their TV's via software updates? If yes, how can I keep using smart features without updating firmware?

Unfortunately, none of the three methods work on the latest firmware.

After trying basically everything on the web to downgrade & root my tv I finally found a working solution here (just translate with ur browser):
