Reanimate can animate any SVG image but it is up to you to actually generate the SVG. It is unlikely to ever have built-in support for arrows, graphs, etc. Perhaps use chart-svg: https://hackage.haskell.org/package/chart-svg
from reanimate.
chart-svg looks nice, it has a plugin for reanimate: https://hackage.haskell.org/package/chart-svg-0.2.3/docs/Chart-Reanimate.html
What is not clear for me is how to animate specific parts of the graph (say the line or labels)?
Regarding arrows, is there a ways to integrate with Haskell Diagrams?

There are no tutorials or guides for this. You just have to figure it out on your own. If you do, feel free to write a few tutorials. :)

By coincidence, my own first experiment with reanimate
was a graph (see below). If that sort of thing is of interest, I could put the underlying code in a public repository.

Yes, that would be very interesting!!

I've put the underlying code for the animated graph above at https://github.com/mpilgrem/reanimate-graph
from reanimate.
This seems resolved.
