Hello, I'm rdbende 👋

🐍 Most of the time I'm programming in Python. I like making GUIs with GTK4 and sometimes with Tkinter.
😻 You might wanna check out my themes for Tkinter. The Sun Valley ttk theme can even make it look like Windows 11!
🦀 Lately I've been into GUI development using gtk-rs

Implement xdg desktop portals

We need some Python wrapper, that makes it easier to use the portals. For that we're gonna need some D-Bus library, either dbus-fast (it's asynchronous, so we'd need some async mainloop for tkinter), or dbus-tcl with some Python wrapper.

Porcupine needs the following portals:

OpenURI
Trash

I'm not sure about the FileChooser and the Document portals, as for software development it's probably better to have full --filesystem=home access.
