adns3080's Issues

Overflow Bit not set?

Hello,
I am experimenting with the ADNS3080 and an Arduino Micro.
I could see, that the overflow Bit is not set, even if I provoke an overflow, i.e. slow reading rate to read the motion data and "fast" movement with my test-plane, leading to x- or y increments of 127, -128 respectively. I am using the motion burst mode. I tested it with two different ADNS3080. It occurs to me, that the OVF Bit in the motion register is never set.
Could you observe similar behavior?

Thank you in advance and best regards
Michael

P.S. Thank you for your neat library!

Displacement always [0,0]

Hey, I tried your library and the example "displacement.ino" sketch compiles and can be uploaded, but the output of the setup for me is always [0,0]. I have also tried this with 2 sensors, so I am guessing I might be doing something incorrect, rather than both sensors being broken.
The setup is faithfully recreated to your image however, so I fail to see where I might make a mistake. Do you have any initial idea what could be the issue?

Kind regards,

Niklas
