P3DToPDA.cpp (line 157) creates a data request. It uses the default period which is SIMCONNECT_PERIOD_VISUAL_FRAME and should use SIMCONNECT_PERIOD_SECOND. Note that TCPTransport.cpp ensures that no more than one update per 1/2 second is sent but it's not sensible to read at a high rate and drop most of the values.

On startup the tug desired heading is initialised to zero so that when you just set the speed, the tug turns. If speed is set and heading is not then initialise from tug's current heading.

Just spotted what looks like a bug since I upgraded to PSD v5.3

With the recorded traffic, launching a second bit of traffic clears any existing traffic. Didn't do this in the past.

Want a "turn" command that takes a relative bearing.
Allow caller to query tug heading/altitude etc.

For flying the motorglider it should be possible to show engine RPM.
P3D Instruments should include RPM in the data. Panels can have numerical dials added.
