barn's Issues

Repository standards compliance

The files and folders do not comply with open-source repository standards:

  • PascalCase convention in directory and file names (instead of kebab-case)
  • Documentation files (.md) not in docs/ folder
  • No HTML version of the files

Proposal:

  • All Markdown files in docs/ folder
  • All directory and file names renamed following kebab-case convention
  • GitHub Action added to publish GitHub pages and set URL in project description

Examples:

Multi cluster monitoring

Currently, the Monitoring stack is cluster-scoped and as such requires repeating the installation process for each cluster and managing individually.

With the introduction of Prometheus agent mode (https://prometheus.io/blog/2021/11/16/agent/) It could be possible to implement a lightweight solution for remote metrics collection. We could also leverage Continuous Delivery to deploy this agent on newly-provisioned clusters and automate this process.

I would recommend waiting until prometheus-operator/prometheus-operator#3989 is resolved, for ease of configuring.
